could be either! i kind of just want something that isn’t completely overdone, you know? of course, i’d always rather have a song that i can really sink my teeth into emotionally, but i’m really just looking to branch out and pick...

we are talking fairly soprano-y. the trick for me is finding something that is not overdone (aka something that no one else in the department has) and that’s balladish enough to contrast my two other pieces.
